The letter C

As many of you know we have decided to homeschool our kids. One of the things I absolutely love about homeschooling is that you have opportunities anywhere, anytime, and you can use anything to teach your children. We use videos on youtube.com and sesamestreet.com to help him recognize his letters. We use different things to teach him his colors. Yesterday Simeon and I were sharing a piece of colorful cake and we used that opportunity to notice the difference between pink and purple. He has two computer games that help him learn different things. Simeon loves to learn. He likes to point out different shapes, colors, and letters. For example, Jarrod was helping him in the bathroom yesterday when Simeon said, "Look, Daddy, my poo poo made the letter 'C'." Oh the joys of a preschooler that loves to learner! : )
